BMW India started with a small manufacturing unit which has strengthened to a scale of 10000 unit cars in their 1st year of operation in Chennai. It is not just a strong brand or luck which has lead to this car phenomenal growth, this has been possible because of a proper strategic planning and their products roll out. With new introductions in the market BMW India has kept its momentum going. It is the new BMW X3 which will definitely take them to a higher couple of notches in the small SUV premium segment.
Last time when BMW bought X3 into the market it did not cut the market as the car was very boxy, the rear of the car was not very exciting and as a whole it didn’t look proportionate. It was also very narrow for a car like BMW. The notion of handling, speed and power was missing in it. The BMW X3 didn’t find place in the automobile market in India despite the fact of being well appointed from inside. BMW also didn’t accepted the defeat and stuck to X3 and waited for 2011 edition. This New verison has incorporated all the missing elements.
The much awaited wait is over now and the new BMW X3 has stunned all. The new X3 is ready to reap rewards. It borrows most of its design from its well built sibling X5, though it has stretched its sheet metal & carves in a well proportionate manner. It is one of the stylish SUV genes of BMW. Apart from a sporty look this car also features a muscular stance and sits well on it four wheels. It creates a perfect picture as it comes with a BMW kidney grille, 17-inch wheels & BMW signature headlights and finally a chiseled bodyline. In the rear the designers have sculpted it in lines with X5 model. For inspiration in this new car they did not look to the cardboard box. This new X3 brings to you some chiseled edges, good curves and a taillight which cluster it into a car well designed and pretty looking.
The interiors of the car are typical BMW as it offers high quality materials along with an impeccable fit & finish. It also has a host of gadgetry and gizmos. The dash is properly crafted with two finished tone which is detached with a wooden insert. It has a multifunctional display unit and X3 comes with iDrive infotainment system. Like most other BMW car this car also has an asymmetric centre console which hints of being a driver’s car. The new BMW X3 featured iDrive has an 8.8 inches high resolution screen which is largest monitor in its category
